While Happy Day Care doesn’t have a traditional on-site playground, we are fortunate to be right next to the vast Bay Miwok Meadows Park. Rather than a typical playground, this proximity allows us to offer supervised play sessions in a section of the park. Children enjoy structured activities and play while under constant watch, ensuring they have fun in a safe environment.

Yes, Happy Day Care is open throughout the year. However, it’s important for us to always bring our best to the children. To ensure this, Megan takes two weeks off annually for rejuvenation. These breaks are scheduled well in advance to assist families in planning. Additionally, Megan allocates one week for sick leave to prioritize the health and well-being of all children under our care. We always strive to communicate and work closely with our families to ensure minimal disruptions and maximum care.

At Happy Day Care, the safety of your child is paramount. Every care provider undergoes a rigorous background check in accordance with California regulations, including state fingerprinting, child abuse index checks, and out-of-state verifications when applicable. This ensures that all our staff have been thoroughly vetted, have no significant criminal history, and are fully equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child. At Happy Day Care, we understand and respect the diverse preferences families have regarding photographs. Memories formed here are precious, and we love to capture joyous moments. With your permission, we might take pictures for internal use, such as labeling cubbies or creating classroom memories. For those who are comfortable, we also occasionally feature images on our center-wide website to showcase our vibrant community. However, we always prioritize and respect your decision.
